RHR. Or HRest. Also known as Resting Heart Rate. Back when I had the Concentra health analysis done, if I recall correctly, my RHR was between 100 and 115 or so. On a whim, I got up and put my heart strap on after laying around watching TV for a while, and its between 75 and 80 now.
Something else I've noticed regarding heart rate is that I'm peaking at about 170 rather than 185 or so, and its taking me longer to get there. And I'm not sure that I could *get* to 170 on the trainamabob. I seem to top out about 155 or so there. I think I could use some more resistance... but more than likely I just need to up my cadence.
Also, I've started lifting again, trying to get my arms and chest and abs back to what I was doing before I quit in October last year. I've gone back down to 8# eights, and 3 sets of 12. Its a bit humbling.
Furthermore, asthma wise, I haven't hit my rescue inhaler in almost a week and a half. The bad news there is I'm almost out of Symbicort. This is fairly distressing, but I'm hoping that maybe I can do without it. Probably not though. We'll see.
